Favorite Memories

April 19th, 2009 by Sherri

You know… I only just discovered the Country Stage last summer… and I went three times!

Aside from all the great music and the very friendly people… I have to say, one of my best memories was walking around the park in the evening twilight and hearing all the picking going on. Little groups jamming, bigger groups gathered, it was really what bluegrass music means to me. People. Families, Gatherings and Friends. Just walking about in the cool evening breeze and talking with old friends I hadn’t seen for a few months and smelling the campfires and the good stuff cooking… and the music and the laughter and the good times.

That is what bluegrass and the Country Stage mean to me.
